Nancy L. Casement, 78, of Medina, NY, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Roswell Park Institute, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. Born on July 31, 1938 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Alice (Chambers) Stilwell. Nancy graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in 1953 and in 1957 graduated from Medina High School. She married the late James Casement, together raising a daughter. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sieck Wholesale, the former White Brothers Florist from 1968 until her retirement in 2012. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church and enjoyed music and spending time with her family and was a devoted Miami Dolphin fan. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Bill) Hoffman of Medina, grandchildren, Scott (Marjorie) Hoffman of Mendon, NY, Jeff (Mary) Hoffman of Irondequoit, NY, Ryan Hoffman of Medina, two great-grandsons, “the sunshine boys” Ezra Scott and Henry Lee Hoffman, two sisters, Shirley (Richard) Mancuso of Medina, Barbara Thaxter of Maryland and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Mary “MeMe” Carpenter, Anna “Bonnie” Bensley, Anthony “Tony” Stilwell, Edna “Chee Chee” Kusmierczak, Robert “Jim” Stilwell, George Stillwell, Donald “Bucky” Stilwell and Donna Hopkins. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 6-9 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Mary’s Church and interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
