Louis C. “Jug Head” Hinkley Sr. 62, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the United Memorial Hospital, Batavia. Born on September 4, 1953 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of Louis and Betty Jean (Gaummer) Hinkley. Louis grew up in Rochester and worked various jobs including being a tow truck operator, working at Injected Rubber of Albion and lastly, as a mechanic for the former Six Flags in Darian Lake, NY. He was a dedicated NASCAR and Buffalo Bills Fan and was a “Mr. Fix-It” Handyman. He is survived by five children, Angela (Jessie) Jackson of North Carolina, Louis (Sarah) Hinkley Jr. of Batavia, Kevin Hinkley of Perry, Jeffery (Jenny) Hinkley of Lyndonville, Scott Hinkley of Batavia, 15 grandchildren, longtime partner, Patricia Mattison of Lyndonville, five siblings, Harold Hinkley, Carl Hinkley, Harriet Somora, Cecilia (Joe) Stoutenger, Valerie Stover, all of Rochester and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 11 AM-1 PM on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Daniel Thurber officiating and burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery.
