Lizzie Mae Wallace, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lakeside Beikirch Nursing Home, Brockport, NY, surrounded by loved ones

. Lizzie was born on May 25, 1925 in Ft. Valley, Georgia, the daughter of the late James and Gladys Brady.

The family relocated to the Medina area in the 1940’s. Lizzie was a lifelong member of the Glad Tidings Missionary Baptist Church in Medina. She was employed at Medina Memorial Hospital and retired from Fisher-Price Toys. She was a devoted mother to seven children and loved to fish, knit and crochet.

She leaves to mourn, Shirley(Robert) Jones of Medina, NY; Lawrence James Wallace of Lockport, NY; Ella Mae Wallace of Rochester, NY; Paul Wallace of Rochester, NY; Yvonne Wallace of Albion, NY; and Joanne Shedrick of Lockport, NY; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews friends and a wonderful staff of Lakeside Beikirch Nursing Home. Lizzie is predeceased by a son, Eric Wallace, brothers, Willie, Clifford Sr. (Lucille) and George (Bessie) Brady.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, August 18, 2017, from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. A going home service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, at the Glad Tidings Missionary Baptist Church, 404 W. Oak Orchard St. Medina, NY 14103 and burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
