Linda L. Coon, 71, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at her home.

Born on December 28, 1945 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Margaret M. (LaMachia) Loiacono.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Medina and at one time worked for the former Tele-Service of Medina and was employed for ten years at Fischer-Price. She loved spending time with family and was a avid euchre player. Linda was former member of the Sacred Heart Club, Medina Moose Club, Junior Wilson’s, American Legion and was a current member of the Medina V.F. W.

She is survived her three children, Robert (Robyn Fearby) Coon Jr. of Gasport, Ronald (Ann) Coon Sr. of Lyndonville, Robin (Kevin Simonian) Coon of Lockport; grandchildren, Nicole and Joel Dent, Ronnie Coon Jr., John and Kim Coon, Ace and Becky Strickland, Alyssa Beyer, four great-grandchildren, Collin and Kiera Dent, Ava Strickland, Jade Coon: a sister, Janet (Ken) Blount of Middleport; a great-aunt, Verna Iorio of Medina; a good friend, Robert Coon Sr. of Medina and several nieces and nephews.

Linda is predeceased by her companion, Forest “Gator” Harp.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 11AM-1PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Jerold Grimes officiating and burial will be in the Bates Rd. Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Linda’s name to: St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
