Jordan Akeem “Shug” Askew, 26, of Medina, NY, passed away as a result from his injuries as a victim of a tragic accident on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Rochester, NY.

Jordan was born on October 22nd 1991 to Stephanie Askew in Medina, NY. Jordan loved his family with ALL of his heart. He adored his nephew, Tavarias Griffin. He always made sure to call his mother every single day to say, “I love you Mommy.” He loved his family and his family loved him. Jordan was an intelligent and kind young man, who will be missed dearly. Jordan leaves to mourn, his beloved mother, Stephanie Askew, fathers, Greg Griffin and William Coley, Stepmothers, Glenda Herring, Annie Burns, son, Kaleb McMullan, Brothers, Devon Griffin, Amarie Griffin, Andre Coley, Michael Coley, Andrew Coley and Blake Culver, Sisters, Anayia Griffin, Brionna Islam, Bianca Islam, Jasmine Coley and Aisha Culver, Paternal Grandfather, David Reid, Maternal Grandmothers Louise Askew and Julia Mae Powell, Aunts, Faye Garris, Burnessa (Willie) Conner, Tonya (Jimmy) Delph, Evonne Askew, Vicki Griffin, Demetra Griffin, Liz Griffin, Yolanda Wallace, Uncles, Carlos Garris, Wesley Askew, Brandon Askew, Brian Griffin, Kevin Griffin, Roderick Griffin, Jermaine Powell, and a host of cousins and friends

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, March 3rd. 2018, from 9:30 AM- 11:00 AM at the Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 West Oak Orchard St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with the Pastor, Rev. Lambert Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
