Joan T. Yagge, 88, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Born on October 21, 1928, in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Ann (Albright) Thomas. Joan graduated from Oakfield High School and attended SUNY at Brockport. Before living in Medina, she also lived in Rochester and N. Bergen, NY. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Medina Moose Club, American Legion and the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Ackley of San Diego, CA, grandchildren, Michael Ackley and Katrina Marin, a cousin, Shirley Yagge of Medina and numerous, loving, great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald Yagge. There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery, Medina.
