Ella Mae Wallace, 63, of Rochester, NY, formally of Medina, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Strong Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.

Born on January 17, 1954 In Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Lizzie Mae (Brady) Wallace.

Ella Mae graduated from Medina High School in 1972. She was employed with General Motors/Valeo until she retired in 2003. At one time, she attended Glad Tidings Baptist Church in Medina. Ella Mae was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed reading, traveling and jewelry making.

Ella Mae is survived by a daughter, Yolanda Wallace of Rochester, four grandsons and a granddaughter, siblings, Shirley (Robert) Jones of Medina, NY; Lawrence James Wallace of Lockport, NY; Paul Wallace of Rochester, NY; Yvonne Wallace of Albion, NY; and Joanne Shedrick of Lockport, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, Ella Mae is predeceased by a brother, Eric Wallace.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 W. Oak Orchard St. Medina, NY 14103 with the Pastor, Rev. Lambert Duncan officiating and the reading of the Eulogy by Bishop McCloud. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery.
