David John Dack, 74, of Lyndonville NY, entered into rest on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at North Wing of Medina Hospital.

He was born on February 4, 1943 in Medina NY. David was the son of Laverne and Marion (Hadstead) Dack.

He lived most of his life in Lyndonville NY. On August 16, 1961 David obtained his chauffeur’s license for truck driving. He worked for various local trucking companies, including Plummer Brothers, SA Cook, and Bowen Trucking. Lastly, in 2008, David retired from Dack “Truck”in. David truly enjoyed driving truck and Bud Light was his favorite drink. Everyone knew him as saying “What A Deal.” He had a loving fondness for animals, especially all cats.

David is survived by his two daughters Kimberly (Robert) Bow of Lyndonville and Debra Dack of Medina; two grandchildren Michael Marek, David Brown; two great grandchildren, Grayson and Colton Brown and former spouse, Laurel Dack of Medina, two sisters, Dorothy Jean Bentley and Robin (Marion) Bayne, all of Lyndonville, NY and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother in law Donald Bentley.

There are no calling hours. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Curley’s, 16 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
