Armin F. ”Arm” Mathison, 54, of Gasport, NY, died suddenly on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, after a long battle with severe depression for several years. Born on January 1st. 1963 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Martha (Padgett) Mathison and the late John E. Mathison. Armin drove truck for the Sunoco Terminal in Rochester, NY and was married to the former Trisha DeMartino and together they raised three children. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Trisha Mathison, three children, Ryan Patrick of Niagara Falls, Nicholas Armin of Albany, Trisha Jeanne of Gasport, siblings, John (Peggy) Mathison of Amherst, Elizabeth Belasco of Texas, mother-in-law, Patricia DeMartino of Gasport and several brothers, sisters-in-laws and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may attend a memorial service, 11:00 AM on Saturday, January, 28, 2017 at the Community Fellowship Church, 3144 Johnson Creek Rd. Middleport, NY 14105. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Armin’s name to: Community Fellowship Church, or to: Niagara Mental Health Association, 36 Pine St. Lockport, NY 14094.
